Pricing and Rates
Health by the Sea is a specialty upper cervical and cranial clinic so our initial workup is very thorough and priced at $198. This includes all of the diagnostic protocols, a detailed nerve scan, and an explanation of findings/diagnosis. Should X-rays or an MRI be necessary we utilize a very affordable imaging center with several locations for convenience. After the initial visit, the doctor will recommend a care plan to achieve the results you're looking for.
So, what's the rate for office visits after the initial? It varies a lot depending on what you need. One spinal adjustment by itself is approximately $89. It's a little rare for someone to pay that as our care plans make care much more affordable. Each is customized based on what the client needs but can run anywhere from $49-$85.
Do you take my insurance?
Maybe, maybe not, we might, we aren't sure yet, but if so then yes definitely because we love when other people foot your healthcare bill. We're being funny here. Insurance is complicated, so read on.....
Our recommendations are based on what you need rather than what’s covered by insurance. Coverage (if any) is often dependent on your diagnosis/symptoms and commonly insufficient to obtain the results you want. Medical insurance is geared toward crisis care and symptom resolution. This, coupled with the fact that we are a specialty clinic means that the majority of our clients do have some out-of-pocket expenses.
After you schedule your initial exam and complete the short online paperwork our office will happily verify your benefits, and go over the coverage after we obtain your diagnosis.
- We work with many insurance companies and are IN-network with Medicare, Blue Shield, and the VA. We work with most other companies if the policy has out-of-network coverage. We gladly take care of personal injury clients with med-pay or on a lien basis (an attorney must be involved). We do not accept any ASH/third-party policies or HMOs. Covered California, TriCare, Medi-Cal, and Medicaid do not cover chiropractic care.
